DDGS DRYER
We design and manufacture the DDGS dryer for the grain-based distillery plant, whose capacity varies from 60 KLPD to 200 KLPD. The steam tube bundle dryer is used for this purpose. The tube bundle dryer is the indirect-heating contact dryer. The tube bundle is rotated inside the stationary, insulated housing.
Steam is passed through one end of the tube bundle, and the wet feed material to be dried is fed into the stationary dryer housing from the feed nozzle at one end. The material is conveyed from one end to the other with blades fitted on the tube bundle periphery; the rpm is very low, ranging from 6 to 10 RPM, and the material is discharged out through another end. This dryer features mainly low energy consumption, large drying capacity, large water evaporation (materials with high moisture can be dried out), and continuous production.
